Thanks again for making the final set of our event a success. It was nice to see you without the rain this year. The crowd really liked all of you and got busy with dancing right away. It was a pleasure for the second year working with you. By request of others (I had to laugh since I was going to ask you again for next year) would you please look at your schedule and save us August 15, 2009 (3rd Sat. of August).

T-Town Sound Forum August 30th 08

The first band we saw on Saturday was East River Drive. I’d heard a lot about this band and they didn’t disappoint! When you see them you get R&B, Soul, Pop, Dance Music, and a lead singer with LOTS and LOTS of energy!

Check out these pictures! This is East River Drive on stage at the “Centre Stage” bar on Alexis where I caught their live show. They are a 6 piece band, 2 singers, bass, guitar, keyboard, and drums!


Like I said - they put on a really high energy show with old-school tunes and new alike! Here’s another pic of the singers in East River Drive:


The band has an awesome rhythm section:
 

The keyboards and guitar really make East River Drive stand out whether it’s on Superstition or Lady Marmalade.
